Piccini 6.38 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is a single-vineyard red wine from the Fattoria di Valiano estate in Tuscany. This DOCG classified blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot offers a structured profile with bright ruby color and purple hues.

The nose reveals aromas of black berries and black cherries, complemented by spicy notes of ginger, orange zest, anise and vanilla from integrated oak aging. On the palate, the wine is elegant and fresh with a juicy character, round tannins and a generous, persistent finish featuring black pepper and liquorice.

This Tuscan Gran Selezione wine is best served at 18-20°C. Decanting for 30-60 minutes before serving helps open up the complex aromatic profile. It pairs well with red meats, rich pasta dishes, tomato-based sauces and aged cheeses.

Suitable for medium-term cellaring, this estate-bottled wine contains sulphites and represents the highest tier of Chianti Classico quality.
