Château de Hauterive Chemin de Compostelle is a classic Cahors AOC red wine from Southwest France, produced by Peuch & Besse. This Malbec-dominant blend offers a traditional, structured profile with velvety tannins and concentrated dark fruit character.

Chemin de Compostelle is crafted using temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and light élevage to preserve freshness while maintaining structure. It is an approachable yet robust choice for pairing with rich cuisine.

Recommended service temperature is 15-17°C. Decanting for 30-60 minutes is advised for younger vintages to allow the wine to breathe. It has an aging potential of 5-8 years depending on the vintage.

This red wine pairs exceptionally well with red meats, game, duck confit, cassoulet, and full-flavored cheeses.
