Use a towel to remove excess moisture from your hair after washing it. Plug in the hair dryer and adjust the settings. Most hair dryers have a high and low setting, as well as a cool shot button. Choose the appropriate setting for your hair type and the style you want to achieve. Section your hair. Divide your hair into sections using hair clips or hair ties.
