Aveda Lavender Essential Oil + Base is a calming aromatherapy blend designed for body, bath, and massage. This lightweight fluid oil features a floral, herbaceous scent derived from lavender flower tops, leaves, and stalks, offering a soothing sensory experience.

The formula combines Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride with Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil to create a dewy, hydrating finish. It is suitable for most skin types and can be applied to the scalp and hair as well as the body. For best results, warm a small amount between palms before massaging into limbs and torso.

This 30 ml amber glass bottle protects the integrity of the essential oils. The product contains natural fragrance components including linalool, geraniol, limonene, and coumarin. Patch testing is recommended for those with specific fragrance sensitivities.

How to use

To properly use Aveda Lavender Body Oil, it is recommended that you use it after bathing or showering while your skin is still damp. This will help to lock in the moisture and ensure that the oil is fully absorbed by your skin. Take a small amount of the oil, about a dime size, and warm it between your palms before applying it to your skin. Start by massaging the oil into your limbs, then move on to your torso, and finally your face. Pay extra attention to dry or rough areas such as the elbows, knees, and heels. Be sure to massage the oil in until it is fully absorbed. It is recommended to use it at least once a day, ideally in the morning or evening, for best results.
