Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille is a woody gourmand eau de parfum from the Collection Noire line. This unisex fragrance centers on Mexican black vanilla, balanced by sandalwood and licorice for a warm, dry composition.

The scent opens with creamy, lactonic facets often associated with coconut milk and beeswax, evolving into a resinous drydown supported by tonka bean and benzoin. The addition of licorice provides a bittersweet contrast that prevents the vanilla from becoming overly sweet.

Created by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake in 2003, this fragrance is housed in a clear rectangular glass flacon with a minimalist black label and round cap. It is designed for moderate to long longevity, making it suitable for cooler seasons and evening wear.

Apply to pulse points such as the neck, wrists, and inner elbows on clean, dry skin. For best results, spray from a distance of 10-15 cm to allow the alcohol to evaporate, leaving the scent profile intact.
