Amika The Wizard Detangling Primer is a lightweight leave-in spray that primes hair for styling while providing heat protection up to 450°F. This multi-tasking mist detangles, reduces frizz, and adds shine to all hair types without weighing strands down.

  • Heat Protection: Shields hair from thermal damage up to 450°F.
  • Detangling & Frizz Control: Smooths knots and flyaways for easier styling.
  • Hydrating Formula: Enriched with sea buckthorn and avocado oils.
  • Universal Use: Suitable for all hair textures, keratin-safe and color-safe.

The weightless mist creates a smooth foundation for blow-drying, straightening, or curling, helping to cut down drying time. It leaves hair with a non-greasy, shiny finish that lasts until the next wash.

Apply evenly to damp or dry hair before styling. For best results, spray onto a paddle brush to distribute the product through mid-lengths and ends. The formula is free from parabens, sulfates, and mineral oil.

How to use

Start with clean, damp hair. Apply a small amount of Amika The Wizard Hair Primer to your palm and spread it evenly through your hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Use a wide-tooth comb to distribute the primer and detangle your hair. Proceed with your usual styling routine, whether it is blow-drying, straightening, or curling. Enjoy the benefits of a smooth and protected base that helps prevent heat damage.
