Hugo Boss Boss Selection Eau de Toilette is an aromatic fougère fragrance for men, presented here in a 100 ml tester format. Launched in 2006, this scent balances fresh citrus top notes with a sophisticated woody-musky drydown, offering a refined and versatile signature for everyday wear.
- Scent Profile: Opens with pink pepper, grapefruit, mandarin orange, and bergamot.
- Heart Notes: Features star anise, cedar leaves, geranium, and petitgrain.
- Base Notes: Dries down to patchouli, vetiver, cedarwood, heliotrope, and musk.
- Format: 100 ml tester bottle, typically supplied in plain packaging without a decorative cap.
This Boss Selection EDT delivers moderate projection and sillage, making it suitable for daytime, office environments, and smart-casual occasions. The fragrance is best suited for spring and summer but remains versatile enough for year-round use in mild climates.
The composition offers a clean, non-invasive yet noticeable presence, targeting adult men who appreciate understated confidence. As a tester version, the juice is identical to the retail product, providing the same longevity of approximately 3-6 hours depending on skin chemistry.
Apply 1-3 sprays to pulse points such as the wrists and neck. To extend the longevity of the woody-musky finish, consider applying an unscented moisturizer before spraying. Avoid rubbing wrists together to preserve the integrity of the fresh citrus top notes.
