Avène Cicalfate+ Scar Gel is a silicone-based local treatment designed to improve the appearance of recent and old scars on the face and body. This fragrance-free gel forms a protective, non-greasy film that helps remodel scar tissue while soothing sensitive skin.

The formula combines Avène Thermal Spring Water with concentrated silicones to hydrate and protect the treated area. It is indicated for use on healed skin following surgeries, such as caesarean sections or orthopedic procedures, as well as dermatological treatments.
Clinical evaluations suggest visible improvement in scar appearance from 3 weeks of regular use, with continued benefits over 3 months. The high-tolerance formula is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and provides an immediate soothing effect without leaving a greasy residue.
Apply once or twice daily directly to the scar. Gently massage until absorbed. Do not apply to open wounds or unhealed skin.
